Exhibit featuring art by Wounded Warriors from Camp Lejeune to be on display at the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center in Wilmington, NC., August 5 – 21, 2016.
The unique creativity of Wounded Warriors from the Camp Lejeune area will be on display at the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center in Wilmington, from August 5th through August 21st to channel emotions that most of us will thankfully never have to experience. Co-sponsored by the Board of Directors for the Museum of the Marine and the USO, this exhibit represents a collective catharsis only made possible through the healing power of art and self-expression. Much of the art on display will be available for purchase via silent auction, the proceeds of which will be shared by the artists and the Museum of the Marine. The public is invited to the tour the exhibit; admission to the USO is free.
