Diana Morgan - Diana Morgan is a senior Marketing student at UNC Wilmington, graduating in May 2017. Originally from Long Island, NY, she has been interning under the Thalian Association Community Theatre Executive Director since 2015. Diana is also involved in the UNCW Campus Recreation Advisory Board, Alpha Delta Pi sorority, and the Cameron Executive Network.


Gunnar Schonning - Gunnar Schonning is a retired Parks Director from Connecticut. He has lived in Wilmington for twelve years. He is married and has three grown children. In his spare time, he writes. He has many years of experience working in public service. This is his first experience working with the exciting and enlightening experience of theatre.

Jon Wallin - Jon Wallin was born and raised near Asheville, NC. He holds a BA in Anthropology and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of NC at Wilmington. He is married to Chandler Davis, Artistic Director of Thalian Association Community Theatre, and is an active member of the Wilmington theatre community. In his spare time he writes poetry, plays chess, and thoroughly immerses himself in the care and well-being of his four fluffy cats.

Our Management

The Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center is managed by the staff of the The Thalian Association, the Official Community Theater of North Carolina.

The Thalian Association is a non-profit, membership organization founded in 1788 to provide arts education and bring the excitement of the performing arts to Wilmington. The organization has its offices and holds auditions at the Community Arts Center.  The Center also hosts the Thalian Children's Theater classes and performances.

Parking Rates:
