Reilly Callaghan \| Front Desk Staff – is a graduate from the theatre department at UNCW in 2018. Since then he has spent time in Atlanta, New York and now back in Wilmington. During this time he has been acting as well as teaching. He’s very excited to be back in Wilmington and involved with the theatre community.

Brian Hoss \| Tech Supervisor/Front Desk Staff – Brian was born in Dallas, TX and raised around Winston-Salem, NC. He attended Appalachian State University studying Business Marketing. He enjoys spending time around downtown Wilmington and the beaches around Wilmington. He is a professional photographer and is currently trying to start his own business being an event planner. He has one dog and two cats.
Leilani Pickett \| Front Desk Staff – Leilani is a Wilmington native who grew up ballet dancing at Thalian Hall and surfing at Wrightsville Beach. She is passionate about the arts and particularly enjoys sculpting with wire and seaglass. Leilani lived in Asheville and New York City before returning to her hometown to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Certification in Professional Writing, and has plans to attend graduate school.
Jon Wallin \| Tech Supervisor/Front Desk Staff– Jon Wallin was born and raised near Asheville, NC. He holds a BA in Anthropology and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of NC at Wilmington. He is an active member of the Wilmington theatre community. In his spare time he writes poetry, plays chess, and thoroughly immerses himself in the care and well-being of his four fluffy cats.

Cat Thomas \| Front Desk Staff – Cat is happy to be back home in Wilmington after two and a half years at the University of South Carolina. She is just a thesis away from her MFA in Directing! Cat enjoys all things theatre, particularly acting, directing, and teaching. She has worked with professional, community, university, and high school theatre companies. She likes to travel, cook, read plays and create art that is unique, innovative, and inspiring.

Meghan McDonald \| Front Desk Staff – Meghan McDonald is a recent UNCW graduate with degrees in Theatre Performance and Communication Studies. Originally from Cumberland, Rhode Island, she now is an active member of the Wilmington theatre and film communities as an actor. When not in rehearsals, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, and hanging with her cat!

OUR MANAGEMENT

The Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center is owned by The City of Wilmington and managed by the staff of the Thalian Association Community Theatre, the Official Community Theater of North Carolina.

The Thalian Association is a non-profit, membership organization founded in 1788 to provide arts education and bring the excitement of the performing arts to Wilmington. The organization has its offices and holds auditions at the Community Arts Center. The Center also hosts the Thalian Youth Theatre classes and performances.
