Camp Descriptions (Ages 7-10)

 

What to Expect:

These week-long camps are perfect for the dramatic and imaginative youngsters! Each week there will be a theme to guide the activities, crafts, scenes, scripts, songs and games for that week of camp. Full day campers will be able to experience two themes in one day for a double dose of fun. Morning camps have a theater arts/performance focus and afternoon camps focus on visual arts. Final Showcase on Fridays for every morning camp!

  • Morning or Afternoon only (9am-Noon or 1pm-4pm)—$110/week

 

Show and Share Friday:

Each Friday there will be a final showcase for family and friends to attend for all of the morning camps. The “show and share” will be a variety of music numbers, dance routines, rehearsed skits/scenes, art exhibits etc. Morning and Afternoon camps will have their own showcase.

 

Next Stop: Broadway!

Throughout the week, campers will work together to rehearse scenes and musical numbers from kid-friendly Broadway hits—learning what it takes to put on a show from auditions to final curtain call. With a focus on confidence, collaboration, and creative expression, every child gets a chance to shine.

Pottery Camp

(1p-4p)

Limited to 12 campers

Campers will learn how to shape and mold clay into beautiful and imaginative creations—like bowls, animals, and decorative pieces—using tools and their own creativity. Along the way, they’ll discover the basics of pottery, including texture, form, and glazing.

Galaxy Far Far Away

(9a-12p)

Blast off into a world of starships, space creatures, and cosmic heroes! In this intergalactic performance camp, young actors will create and star in an original sci-fi space adventure filled with action, heart, and imagination. Campers will explore the timeless themes of friendship, bravery, and standing up for what’s right—just like the heroes from their favorite space stories. Through acting, movement, music, and creative design, they’ll work together to build a brand-new galaxy and tell its story on stage.

The Art Galaxy Adventure

(1p-4)

From painting colorful planets and designing alien landscapes to crafting shimmering stars and cosmic creatures, campers will use a mix of materials and techniques to bring the galaxy to life. Along the way, they’ll learn about astronomy, experiment with color and texture, and let their imaginations soar beyond the skies.

Magical Muggles

(9a-4p)

Step into a world of magic and imagination, where young witches and wizards bring the Wizarding World to life! Campers will be magically sorted into houses, earning points all week through teamwork, creativity, and camp spirit. Each day is filled with hands-on activities inspired by the beloved series, including Quidditch matches, Potions class (science experiments and creative concoctions), spell-casting games, and magical crafts.

In addition to wizarding fun, campers will explore performance-based activities such as scene work, character creation, movement, and storytelling inspired by the world of Hogwarts. Art projects may include wand making, and house banners. The week culminates in a special showcase where campers can share what they’ve created with fellow campers and families. Perfect for fans of fantasy, theater, and creativity, this immersive camp encourages imagination, collaboration, and a little bit of magic in everyone ✨

Muppet Showtime Spectacular

Step into a world of laughter, music, and mayhem with The Muppet Showtime Spectacular! This super-fun performance camp invites kids to join Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and the whole gang for a week of singing, dancing, and acting filled with silliness and surprises. Campers will create their own Muppet-inspired characters, learn catchy songs and goofy dances, and bring hilarious scenes to life—just like a real Muppet variety show! With plenty of improvisation, teamwork games, and creative crafts, every child will discover how to shine on stage while having a blast.

Storybook Art

(1p-4p)

Each day, campers will explore different beloved storybooks and fairy tales, using painting, drawing, collage, and craft projects to illustrate scenes, characters, and magical settings. From designing their own storybook covers to creating puppets and murals, every project encourages creative expression and storytelling skills.

Jurassic Jungle Adventure

(9a-12p)

Welcome to Camp Dino Discovery — a once-in-a-lifetime adventure deep in the Jurassic Jungle, where dinosaurs still roam and mystery awaits around every vine! In this action-packed performance camp, young actors become brave explorers, quirky scientists, and curious campers who must work together when things don’t go quite as planned. Campers will sing, act, and dance their way through ancient lands, dramatic dino chases, and hilarious jungle mishaps — all leading up to a final stage performance full of excitement, laughter, and prehistoric magic.

Prehistoric Planet

(1p-4p)

Campers will create roaring dinosaur sculptures, paint dramatic volcanic scenes, and design their own fossil imprints using a variety of materials and techniques. Along the way, they’ll learn fun facts about prehistoric creatures and environments, sparking their imagination and creativity.

Big Stop Rising Stars

(9a-12p)

Step right up to the most spectacular camp of the summer! In The Greatest Show, young performers will enter a world of wonder, where bold characters, dazzling music, and joyful expression come together under the big top. Throughout the week, campers will sing, dance, act, and create in a circus-inspired world where everyone belongs. From ringmasters and acrobats to animal tamers and fantastical acts, each child will develop their own unique character and help bring an original musical showcase to life.

Comic Craze

(1p-4p)

POW! ZAP! BAM! Get ready to bring your stories to life in this action-packed art camp! Campers will learn the fundamentals of comic book illustration, from creating expressive characters and dynamic poses to designing panels and speech bubbles that tell a story. Using drawing, inking, and coloring techniques, each artist will develop their own original characters and plots — and by the end of the week, they’ll have created their very own mini graphic novel to take home!

Defying Gravity

(9a-12p)

Step into the land of Oz and uncover the story behind the witches before Dorothy dropped in! This week-long performance camp will take young performers on a journey through friendship, bravery, and believing in themselves—even when they feel different. Campers will explore songs, scenes, and choreography inspired by Wicked, all adapted to be fun and accessible for younger performers. They’ll create their own characters, learn the basics of stage performance, and work together to put on a final showcase full of color, music, and heart.

Selfie Studio

(1p-4p)

Strike a pose and step into the spotlight! In this colorful, creative camp, artists will explore the modern self-portrait through photography, collage, and expressive painting. From playful selfies to bold abstract interpretations, campers will learn how to capture their personality, mood, and style in unique and artistic ways. Using mixed media techniques, bright colors, and creative composition, each artist will design portraits that are as one-of-a-kind as they are!

Swifties Take The Stage

(9a-12p)

Get ready to sing, dance, and tell your story! In Swifties Take the Stage, campers will explore the magic of music and storytelling inspired by Taylor Swift’s catchy songs and heartfelt lyrics. This camp is all about expressing your feelings, building confidence, and having a blast performing in a supportive and creative environment. Throughout the week, campers will learn fun group songs, create their own stories through acting and movement, and even write their own simple lyrics and poems. Whether they dream of being pop stars, storytellers, or dancers, this camp helps every child find their voice and sparkle on stage.

Paint the Music

(1p-4p)

Each day, campers will listen to different styles of music—from classical to pop, jazz to movie soundtracks—and create unique paintings, drawings, and mixed-media art inspired by the rhythms, moods, and stories behind the sounds. Whether splattering paint to energetic beats or using soft colors for gentle melodies, campers will discover how music can inspire bold creativity.

Once Upon the Stage

(9a-12p)

Campers will sing, dance, and act their way through scenes from Disney classics—both old and new—while building confidence, creativity, and stage skills. From princesses and heroes to sidekicks and villains, every child will get a chance to step into the spotlight and shine.

Movie Magic -Art Inspired by Disney

(1p-4p)

Each day, campers will dive into the stories, characters, and settings from classic and modern Disney movies like The Lion King, Frozen, Moana, and Toy Story, while also drawing inspiration from thrilling Disney World attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain. From sketching their favorite characters and designing magical ride scenes to creating vibrant murals and imaginative crafts, campers will experience the magic of Disney storytelling through hands-on art projects. This fun-filled week sparks imagination, storytelling, and artistic expression, making every masterpiece truly unforgettable!
