Canines for Service is a local nonprofit providing service dogs at no cost to Veterans from all conflicts with service-connected PTSD, traumatic brain injury, mobility challenges, or military sexual trauma.
CFS also offers a program where community members and their pets can become a certified Canines for Therapy Team. Zimmer Cancer Center, local libraries, and nursing homes are just a few locations therapy teams have offered positive therapeutic experiences and helped to minimize stress and reduce anxiety.
