Film Camp: June 15-19, 2026 | AGES 9-13

9:00 AM–4:00 PM

Lights, camera, creativity! This summer’s Film Camp is getting a refresh—and it’s better than ever. We’re offering one full-day session to give campers more time to dive deep into the filmmaking process. From brainstorming ideas to filming and editing, campers will work together to create their own original film while learning the fundamentals of storytelling, camera work, and collaboration.

BOSS Camp Scene Shop Camp: June 22-26, 2026 | AGES 12-17

9:00am- 4:00pm

For the fourth summer in a row, campers will have a full-day, one-week experience that is all about building the set for a theatrical production. Campers will work with skilled set designers to design and build all the fundamental set pieces that will be used for the Summer 2026 BOSS Camp shows.

Students must bring their own lunch.

OUR MANAGEMENT

The Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center is owned by The City of Wilmington and managed by the staff of the Thalian Association Community Theatre, the Official Community Theater of North Carolina.

The Thalian Association is a non-profit, membership organization founded in 1788 to provide arts education and bring the excitement of the performing arts to Wilmington. The organization has its offices and holds auditions at the Community Arts Center. The Center also hosts the Thalian Youth Theatre classes and performances.

Patrons of the HBHUSO/Community Arts Center can park in the surface lot conveniently located next to the building.

Parking Rates:

– Hourly: $2.00
– Daily: $13.00
